Here at Lander University, the Lambda Omega chapter of Kappa Sigma strives to enstill the vaules and morals of true gentlemen through the four pillars of the fraternity: Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship, and Sevice. Along the path to achieveing these values and morals you will obtain various skills to become successful in life as well as making life long brothers to share the virtues and secrets alike of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Forget what you may have heard about Fraternity life in the past. As a member of Kappa Sigma, I want to briefly introduce to you great experiences that await you in the fraternity. We are a traditional, values-based fraternity, and we uphold our principles of Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship and Service. We are not a “drinking club” or a “social group”; rather our mission is to provide our members with a great college experience.
The Kappa Sigma chapter house also provides you with a great place to live including billards, ping pong, internet access, and social interaction with fellow members. The chapter house is kept in good condition through upkeep and cleaning every summer and is considered one of the best on campus.
Kappa Sigma, in the United States, is over 130 years old and has over 200 chapters across North America. With over 230,000 brothers nationwide Kappa Sigma is ranked the #1 fraternity in total membership. Some of the famous alumni in our ranks include: Bob Dole, Jimmy Buffett, Jerry Jones, Robert Redford, and Ted Turner.
